I don't know. I haven't watched very many.

Either tulip, rose, or daisy.

Pure water, or lemonade

 

 

4. What is your passion?

Living for Jesus, playing the piano, reading, and writing

 

 

5. What is your favorite time of the year?

I like spring and fall.

 

 

6. What is your favorite time of the day?

In the summer I like the time of day when the sun has just dropped over the horizon, but it's not quite dark yet. In winter I like midday.


7. What is your favorite physical activity?
Reading...oh, reading doesn't count. Hmmmm, maybe walking.


8. What is your favorite vacation spot?
Now, THAT is a question I can answer. The Creation Museum, by Answers in Genesis in Kentucky.

Here are the rules:

The questions the Keller Girls asked me:

1. What is your favorite way to spend Saturday?

I like to read, blog, and play the piano. I also like to listen to the radio dramas our station has on in the morning on Saturdays.

2. Herb garden or Vegetable garden?

Oohh, hard question. Maybe both.

3. Dill pickles or sweet pickles?

Dill. I extremely dislike sweet pickles.

4. Coffee, Tea, Cocoa or Apple Cider?

I like mint tea, cocoa, and cold apple cider. All of them are wonderful!

5. How many animals do you have?

Ummm, I personally have about twenty cows/calves/bulls, and we have one dog and one cat for pets, and ten chickens.

 

6. If you can play a musical instrument what is it?

The piano.

7. Knit, Crochet, both, or neither.

I can knit best, but I can also crochet a little bit.

8. Fancy scarf or plain scarf.

I don't wear scarfs very much.

9. Do you speak any languages?

English, abenglabish, pig latin. =D I might learn Spanish sometime.

10. What is your everyday job/chore around the house?

Making bread and laundry. Also dishes.

11. What is your dream home?

I think a house that has a tower room. this house is where there are trees, but it is on a hill so you can see. There is a huge library in my dream house, and the tower room is mine.

Liebster Award

I got awarded The Liebster Award by Rebekah (Reba) at Rebekah's Haven of Thoughts. Thanks, Rebekah!  I don't think this is the first time I've been awarded it, but this is the first time I have actually done it. Bunny trail: does anyone know why it is called the Liebster award? I have no idea. End of bunny trail.

So, anyway, here are the rules.

 

#1. The person must list 11 things about them.

 

           1. I can read four books in a day, but usually I only read two. And that is not short books.

           2. I have my own herd of cows. It's a very small herd, but still....

           3. I make bread a lot, but it's almost a chore for me, since you have to knead the bread for 20 min.

           4. I like learning about ancient ancient history, OOPArts, and that sort of stuff. It's really neat how technologically advanced ancient peoples were.

           5. Hymns are my favorite songs.

           6. I do not like sewing.

           7. I do like knitting.

           8. I think I like crochet, but I'm not good at it yet.

           9. Making cards w/ stamps is fun too.

           10. I don't compose songs. It is too hard to remember those notes that sounded so good.

           11. I have never seen the Lord of the Rings movie. Or a lot of famous movies, for that matter.

1. Sweet or salty? I would have to say sweet.
2. Finding Nemo or The Chronicles of Narnia? I think the Chronicles of Narnia, but I've only see the first one.

4. Favorite joke? Ummm, I don't think I really have one. And Storyteller used my backup joke. I'll see... here's a really lame one, but it's funny.    Q. What has big ears, is grey, and has a big trunk? A. A mouse going on vacation.

7. Cat or dog?  Dog. Dog. Dog. DOG! cat.

9. Yout opinion of a must see movie. What's a movie? ha ha just kidding. But I have seen so few movies in my life that I really can't answer that.

My Favicon! Finally!

Hello readers, followers, anyone who sees this blog! Isn't it a wonderful day?

I got my favicon up! I have had that thing on my dashboard for ages, but it finally showed up today! Yes!

A gap in my posts....

Alright. Yes, I know it has been forever since I posted. and I also know that you want to know what is going to happen next to the Burglar....

I will post more on The Burglar soon. It will be my next post, I promise.

But that is not what I am talking about today. Today I am announcing that I am not going to be posting on Tuesdays anymore. The reason is undisclosed...and I'm going to keep it that way, for security reasons....

Now you're all going to wonder what I'm doing. Am I on a secret mission? Am a newspaper reporter for someone...and I work on Tuesdays?

You'll never know.

Does anyone have any idea what the point of Labor Day is? And why, if you don't work on Labor Day, is it called Labor Day? It ought to be called Non-Labor Day. Hmmm? Doesn't that seem to make more sense?

Story Contest

So... today I am trying a new sort of post....a Contest!

Write a short story set in medieval times and put it in the "comments" box. The contest will end on the first of October.

Well, I don't really know. That is a hard question! Maybe I try to be kind, but sometimes that's hard. (Especially around some of my siblings!)

Storyteller is so awesome! The stories on the blogs are amazing, and Storyteller is so nice!
